Lead lined doors are purpose‑designed for environments where X‑ray and radiation‑producing equipment is in use. Common applications include medical X‑ray rooms, CT scan rooms, hospitals, clinics, and doctors’ offices. These doors are engineered to help limit radiation exposure while maintaining reliable access and functionality.
Custom‑Designed Lead Lined Doors
Our lead lined hinged and sliding doors are custom designed and manufactured to suit project‑specific requirements. Each door features a laminated construction with a centrally located lead sheet lining. The required thickness of the lead lining is determined by the radiation exposure levels generated by the equipment in use
Lead Equivalent Glass Panels
Lead lined doors can be supplied with lead‑impregnated glass (PD equivalent lead glass), fitted into a 1.6mm mild steel frame. Glass panels are manufactured to custom sizes to suit individual project requirements.
